What to Expect on your First Visit

Whether you are familiar with chiropractic care or this is your first time, you can expect your visit to our office to be new and different from any healthcare experience you’ve had before. Perhaps even life-changing.

For starters, you don't need an appointment. You can walk in whenever we’re open and be seen by our licensed chiropractors whenever it’s convenient for you. Even evenings and weekends. You won't need a referral or any insurance to receive care immediately either. You may experience a short wait before seeing your doctor, but wait times are minimal and usually just enough time to complete your initial paperwork. Your initial paperwork is to help our chiropractors get a better idea of your health history and current needs.

During your first visit, you will watch a video in our New Patient Room where you will learn all the benefits you can gain from your chiropractic care. Once the video is completed the doctor will be in shortly to go through your paperwork and explain how joint dysfunctions may occur, how a chiropractic adjustment is used to correct them, and the many benefits chiropractic has to offer. If you've never been adjusted before, this is a great way to have some of your questions answered by a knowledgeable licensed Doctor of Chiropractic, so you know exactly what to expect. The doctor will answer any questions or concerns you may have prior to initiating treatment.

Once finished in the New Patient Room, the doctor will bring you into a treatment room where he will perform a thorough exam including range of motions tests and many orthopedic checks to determine if you would benefit from treatment and what specific treatment would be the right one for you. If during the exam the doctor believes you need x-rays to better your treatment plan then he will do so. Depending on how the x-rays look the doctor will determine whether treatment will begin that day or if you will need to be brought back in for treatment once he has had ample time to go through your x-rays.

Your first visit is not only for the doctor to get to know you but it’s for you to learn about how you can get the most out of your chiropractic care!
